Born and raised in Northeast Texas and Southeast Oklahoma. Jeremy grew up with a variety of musical influences, ranging from blues artists such as B.B. King, Buddy Guy, and Stevie Ray Vaughan to country outlaws like Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash. Mix in some 80s metal and punk rock and you can definitely see where Jeremy's versatile style comes from. Jeremy started out in the late 90s fronting and playing bass in the short lived blues/rock trio BRiCK in Southeast Oklahoma. He soon moved onto Red Light District from Paris, TX at the suggestion of friend and guitarist TJ Chessire of Fat Dixie. Red Light District would introduce Jeremy to the music scene in and around Paris, TX where he would meet the guys he would form the band Level Route with in 2004. For the next five years, one album, and several members later Level Route would burn up the roads of Texas and Oklahoma. In March of 2009, Level Route would call it quits and Jeremy would move on to join former Level Route drummer Jason Pruett along with Cade White to form the The Regulators who are to the left, right and directly behind Merrol Ray. |
Jason Pruett was born and raised in Paris, TX, where he found a love of music that still holds true today. He was inspired by Texas musicians Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Oklahoma acts such as Mike McClure. Jason fronted the Paris band Southern Nite for several years before joining the Ragtown band to play guitar and sing lead and harmony vocals. Needing a change of pace he joined up with longtime friends Level Route to play drums and sing harmony vocals. One top 20 record and one crazy band breakup later, he found himself on the road and recording with Oklahoma based Fat Dixie for a short time. Now, It's on to the Merrol Ray Band and looking forward to what the future holds with "great music and greater people." he says. |
Cade White was raised in Blossom, Texas. He was musically inspired at an early age by watching his "Pop" Talma Box play steel guitar, and Uncle Curtis play guitar and sing at family gatherings. Always the quiet one, Cade's Mom noticed the intense study and spark in his eye as he listened, and encouraged the purchase of his first guitar at age twelve. After a few lessons and listening to guitarists' such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, Joe Walsh, Ted Nugent, Tommy Shaw and many other artists, Cade's gift was unearthed and his own music began to flourish. In high school, Cade performed with the Ag. Talent Team with his brother Cole. They later joined the band Fm South and played events around Paris, Tx, until a departure to college for Cole. This left the door open for Cade to join fellow Blossom boy, Merrol Ray, one of his "Guitar Heroes", and band brothers Jeremy Key and Jason Pruett to form Merrol Ray and The Regulators. At the age of eighteen, Cade feels privileged to be surrounded with the experience and musical expertise that his band members possess, and looks forward to what the future holds in his musical career. |
